MSF Expo 2006

It's Time to Act!
The MSF Expo Experience 2006

In 10 minutes experience what it could be like to volunteer overseas with MSF and meet with our teams. Spin the wheel and see where your mission takes you. Will you go to Boliva? Sierra Leone? South Africa? Uzbekistan?

Will you have to deal with HIV and AIDS, TB or other neglected diseases such as Chagas?

Join MSF and learn about neglected diseases and how access to essential medicines impacts millions of people. It's time to act!

"Canada is a country where such scenarios happen only in a bad dream. For the patients I meet every day, and for millions of people like them all over the developing world who suffer from diseases like malaria, AIDS, tuberculosis or sleeping sickness, lack of access to medicines is a 21st century disaster/ tragedy.

Two separate worlds exist in health care today. In industrialized countries, there is a large supply and choice of medicines. For the world's poorest and most vulnerable people, essential drugs are often far too expensive, or simply not available.

In hospitals, clinics and homes, Médecins Sans Frontières is constantly witnessing unnecessary deaths due to the lack of access to drugs. We can no longer tolerate this situation. Life-saving treatment must be made available to everyone in need."
