Working with MSF
Thank you for your interest in working overseas with MSF. In this section you will find the information you need to determine if you are suited and qualified to work as MSF field staff. Please read all of the information carefully. If you would like to apply to MSF, please follow the instructions at the end of this section.
MSF staff work at the forefront of emergency medical care for populations in need. As well as providing primary healthcare for people suffering from endemic diseases and neglect, MSF also performs surgery, rehabilitates hospitals and clinics, runs nutrition and sanitation programs, trains local medical personnel and provides mental health care.
See the Where We Work , and What We Do sections for more information.
MSF recruits medical and non-medical staff to work in its projects. All of these people bring professional abilities, practical experience, as well as a commitment to and concern for the people they help.
See the Who is Needed section for details on MSF positions in the field.
Each year more than 2,500 international staff join 20,000 locally hired staff to provide medical aid in countries around the world. Working with MSF means not only a commitment to a particular mission while overseas, but also helping to define the identity and the direction of the organization. MSF guarantees staff a dynamic and intense work environment, working alongside people who believe in providing assistance to those in need.
