Volunteer Week: Thank you for all your efforts

Our volunteers' generosity of spirit, time and passion keeps us vital and ensures the success of our work around the world.

NEWS | 19 April 2010

Many thanks from everyone at MSF

Every year, many Canadians generously volunteer their time and energy to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), supporting the MSF field workers who provide medical assistance to people around the world. Canadian volunteers organize events in their hometowns and at their schools, help in MSF offices and offer professional expertise. Early this year, following the Earthquake in Haiti, a lot of Canadian volunteers joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to process donations and answer donors inquiries.

They directly assist our work in many ways, including as members of the Board of Directors and the Association. This National Volunteer Week, we would like to thank each and every one of these wonderful people for their generous contribution. The efforts of our volunteers in Canada are instrumental in ensuring the success of MSF’s work around the world.

Marilyn McHarg, General Director
