MSF aid workers involved in serious incident in Kismayo, Somalia


NEWS | 28 January 2008

This morning there has been a serious car incident involving several staff members from the medical humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). The incident occurred in the Somali town of Kismayo. There are indications of casualties but we are still getting confirmation and further details.

All international staff are in the process of being evacuated from Kismayo. No further details of how the incident occurred are yet known, but we will release more information as soon as possible.
