This Friday, September 16, representatives from around the world will gather in Montreal to consider the next three years of funding for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (now known simply as the Global Fund), which is the primary mechanism through which international efforts against the spread of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria are made possible.

Negotiations around the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal are taking place this week in Hawaii. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is deeply concerned that without transparency or public consultation, the TPP will create damaging trade-agreement precedents that will further restrict access to life-saving medicines for millions of people.
